OMKAR MALDIKAR and his brainchild Sports management company, the “OMNI GLOBAL SPORTS MANAGEMENT” (OGSM) is a name synonymous with Passion and Repute that finds its roots in the Cricketing culture imbibed by the legendary Sachin Tendulkar- Ramakant Achrekar duo of MUMBAI’s Shardashram Vidyamandir school of which Mr. Maldikar too, is a proud alumnus.

OGSM Boasts of being from a healthy sporting background that the city of Mumbai has nurtured over the years.
It believes in inculcating in every individual from all age groups and from all walks of life to have an affinity for some sort of sport or the other so as to postulate the role of sports in promoting a healthy mind & body amidst the otherwise monotonous life loaded with intense work pressure.

For all the yearning and passion for sports especially Cricket , the longing for excellence and value addition in people’s lives, OGSM since its inception in 2014 has been striving hard to prove it mettle and has meticulously climbed the ladder of success through its affiliations with some of the most sought after organisations of the sporting World namely THE
MUMBAI CRICKET ASSOCIATION (MCA), hailed as the mecca of Indian cricket!

MCA & Mumbai which has blessed world cricket with many a Cricketing stalwarts the list being endless beginning from the likes of C.K.NAYUDU, Sorabji Colah & Shankarrao Godambe that had featured in India’s first official test match against England in 1932 to the Sport’s all time great Sachin Tendulkar & the latest being Ajinkya Rahane, Shreyas Iyer, Prithi Shaw and so on.

It’s a privilige, OGSM has held many a tournaments under the aegis of MCA with a notable, recently concluded “LNCC Omni Global under 19 invitation tournament 2021” organised on the sacred soil of Wankhede stadium.
The tournament will be held every year on a regular basis as assured by MCA!
Also in the pipeline is a MCA approved Under23 LNCC Omni Cup to be hosted once the pandemic subsides.

Apart from this, OGSM has created a niche for themselves in Mumbai’s competitive Cricketing circuit by regularly hosting a no. of events of season ball cricket tournaments namely The Chanawala Trophy, Sher-E-Hind, Omni Cup, the prestigious Milan Corporate Trophy and various Inter and intra Corporate tournaments.

OGSM also participates in the renowed KANGA LEAGUE which is probably the only one of its kind cricket tournament played in the world in the monsoon season and that’s in Mumbai!
The league is played from July to October & mostly on wet monsoon pitches with unpredictable bounce and pace where even a patiently managed 50 by a batsman is worth a Century!
Herein OGSM has tie-ups with Some of the premiere MCA affiliated clubs, the likes of Navroz CC, Lord Northbrook CC, KRP XI & for the pre Kanga league- knockout with Stylo Cicketers.

Of all these associations the one that stands out and had been a long cherished one is with MCA bound lordnorth brook cricket club and Navroz Cricket club affiliated to Mumbai cricket association lies in the vicinity of Wankhede stadium, owned by Mr.Shyam Raul , founded in 1890 and 1925 respectively.

Apart From its consortium with the MCA,
OGSM is also associated with Konkan Cricket Association and Bihar Cricket Association.

The icing on the cake for OGSM are its UK-London Cricket tours organized from the past 8 years beginning from 2013 with fabulous cricket tourism experience by the young touring side that are being ardously coached and polished all through the year by the OGSM coaches.

These tours that includes Cricket matches of different formats (T20, One Day & Two day matches) on some of the most exquisite grounds in London including the Lord’s cricket ground (Middlesex County & Marylebone Cricket club-MCC) detour that are qualitatively organized.

The historic imperial London that houses the famous Lords cricket ground with all its glory depicting fables of its illustruous past, converting those beautiful fleeting moments of the tour into eternal memories for these youngsters; London & LORDS, aptly called as the Home of Cricket!

OGSM manages all this on a foreign soil through its strong collaborative rapport with some of the most celebrated County clubs namely Kenton CC, Harrow CC, St. Mary CC, Highgate CC all of these affiliated to Middlesex County & Cambridge County League.
These UK tours organized by OGSM are rated as One of the best in India!

The quintessence of OGSM’s activities culminates in OGSM being awarded as one of the 10 most promising sports management company in India by Silicon Magazine, Bangalore, consecutively for 3 years in a row!
